Nigeria’s Leading Baby Care Formulator

Amal Botanicals creates natural, nourishing baby care products formulated specifically for Nigerian and African skin, trusted by mothers across the country and diaspora.

🛒

E-Commerce First Brand

Operating primarily through their online store, Amal Botanicals needed a digital advertising system that would drive traffic from buyers who were genuinely looking for what they had to offer.

🎪

Event-Driven Campaign Moment

The brand had confirmed a vendor spot at a major NaijaBrandChick event spanning Lagos and the diaspora, creating a time-sensitive, high-opportunity marketing moment that required the right Google Ads strategy.

STORY
01
The Challenge
A Google Ads case study built around a live event, a nationwide audience, and a baby care brand that had to show up exactly where it mattered.

Imagine running an e-commerce store for a product that mothers genuinely need, natural baby care formulated right in Nigeria, and knowing that the right marketing push could change everything. Then imagine learning that a major brand event is coming to Lagos, one that pulls in buyers from across Nigeria and the Nigerian diaspora, and you have secured a vendor spot.

That was where the founder of Amal Botanicals stood when she reached out to Tekoasis. She was attending a NaijaBrandChick event in Lagos, with reach extending to diaspora audiences, and she needed a way to make sure the right people already knew her brand before they even walked through those doors.

The challenge was not just awareness. She needed people to search for her, find her, and buy from her, both at the event and on her online store. That required a Google Ads strategy that could serve two goals at once: drive footfall and intent at the physical event, and generate direct e-commerce sales through her website.

There was also a foundation to build first. The ad account needed to be set up properly. The Merchant Center had to be configured and approved. Tracking tags needed to be installed and verified on the website. None of the campaign work could deliver without a solid technical foundation underneath it.

We built that foundation. Then we built the campaigns on top of it.

Our Approach

The Google Ads Case Study
Strategy Breakdown

LEVEL 01

Account Setup and Technical Foundation

We built the Google Ads account from the ground up: setting up the ad account, configuring the Merchant Center for product feeds, and installing conversion tracking tags on the website. Every campaign we ran sat on verified, accurate tracking from day one.

LEVEL 02

Search Campaigns Targeting High-Intent Buyers

We launched search campaigns built around keywords that captured people actively searching for natural baby care products in Nigeria. These were buyers with purchasing intent, not passive browsers, and the ad copy was written to speak directly to Nigerian mothers looking for trusted, natural formulations.

LEVEL 03

Audience Warm-Up Through Search

Alongside the high-intent campaigns, we used search ads to warm up a broader audience and keep Amal Botanicals front of mind. This layer ensured the brand stayed visible during the consideration phase and created touchpoints before the final purchase decision.

LEVEL 04

Event Awareness for NaijaBrandChick

We tailored a campaign specifically to drive awareness around the NaijaBrandChick event, targeting Lagos audiences and diaspora communities. The goal was simple: make sure the right people already knew Amal Botanicals before they arrived at the venue.

LEVEL 05 — BOSS STAGE

Google Shopping Campaigns for Direct Sales

The final layer of the campaign was Shopping ads, putting Amal Botanicals’ products directly in front of buyers at the moment of search. With the Merchant Center live and product feeds optimised, Shopping campaigns drove direct e-commerce sales throughout the three-month engagement.

Continuous Optimisation Across All Campaigns

We did not set and leave. Throughout the three months, we monitored performance, adjusted bids, refined targeting, and optimised ad creatives as data came in. The result was a campaign ecosystem that improved over time rather than plateauing.

The Results

Three Months. Real Numbers.

The Google Ads case study results across search and shopping campaigns, tracked over the full three-month engagement.

A Google Ads Case Study
Told Through Referrals

Some clients write reviews. Some clients come back and bring others. The founder of Amal Botanicals did the latter. In the months following the campaign, she referred four separate clients to Tekoasis, each one a business owner who needed marketing that actually delivered results.

She continues to refer. Not because we asked. Because the results spoke loudly enough that she made it her business to tell other business owners. That is the standard we hold ourselves to on every campaign.

Clients Referred by Amal Botanicals
No formal testimonial was provided, but the founder has personally referred four clients to Tekoasis since the campaign ended, and continues to do so. The volume of referrals reflects the confidence she has in the results we delivered for her brand.

Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about working with Tekoasis, our services, timelines, requirements, and how to get started. If your question is not here, send us a message, and we will answer within 24 hours

Do you work with clients outside of Nigeria?

Yes. While our headquarters is in Abuja, Nigeria, TekOasis operates globally. We’ve manage digital growth campaigns for over 450 clients across more than 15 countries, including the US, UK, and Ghana.

What does Tekoasis do?

Tekoasis is a web design and digital marketing agency based in Abuja, Nigeria. We create lead-generating websites, run high-ROI ad campaigns, and provide smart payment, all focused on growing your revenue.

How much do your services cost?

Because we build custom sales ecosystems, our pricing depends on the scope of your project, whether you need a single landing page or full-scale omni-channel media buying. We encourage you to fill out the form so we can provide an accurate, transparent quote.

Do you offer training or consulting instead of full management?

Yes. If you prefer to manage your own marketing but need expert guidance, we offer strategy consulting and training sessions. This can cover paid ads strategy, social media content planning, website SEO audits, or digital marketing fundamentals. Contact us to discuss what training session you need.

Which social media platforms do you manage?

We focus your energy where your buyers actually hang out. For most of our clients, this means a heavy focus on Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and LinkedIn (for B2B/Consultants). We don’t just post to post; every piece of content is engineered to build community and drive traffic to your funnels.

How long does it take to build a website or sales funnel?

We prioritize speed to market without sacrificing quality.

  • Sales Funnels & Landing Pages: Typically ready to launch within 1 to 2 weeks.

  • Standard Websites (Coaches/Service Providers): Usually take 3 to 4 weeks.

  • E-Commerce Stores (Shopify/WooCommerce): Generally take 4 to 6 weeks, depending on the number of products and custom integrations required.

How long does it take for SEO to actually work?

Unlike paid ads which act like a faucet, SEO is a long-term investment, like building a house. While fixing technical errors on your site can provide a quick boost, ranking on the first page of Google for competitive keywords generally takes 3 to 6 months of consistent content strategy, backlink building, and technical optimization.

Do I need a massive ad budget to start?

Not necessarily, but you do need a realistic one. For service businesses or starter e-commerce brands, we can begin testing with as little as $10–$15 a day. As we prove the funnel converts and track your Return on Ad Spend (ROAS), we will advise you on when and how to safely scale your budget.

What does your SEO service include?

Our SEO service covers technical SEO auditing and implementation, keyword research tailored to your business and location, on-page optimisation (title tags, meta descriptions, header structure, schema markup), content strategy and SEO blog writing, Google Search Console and Analytics setup and monitoring, local SEO for businesses targeting customers in Abuja, Lagos, or specific Nigerian cities, and monthly reporting on rankings, traffic, and progress.

How soon can I expect to see results from paid ads?

Results can vary based on factors like your industry, goals, budget and the level of competition. However, you can typically expect to see initial improvements in engagement and reach within the first few weeks. For more substantial growth and conversions.
